• ceremony type, date, and location,

• details needed for legal paperwork (for weddings), and

• optional information you share to personalise your ceremony.

This information is obtained directly from you through enquiry forms, emails, phone calls, or documents such as the Notice of Intended Marriage.

For children’s ceremonies, information such as a child’s first name, age range, or personal story details may be collected with the express consent of a parent or guardian.

No information about a child will be gathered, stored, or shared without written parental permission.

3.  How Information Is Used

Your information is used solely to:

• communicate with you,

• prepare and deliver your ceremony,

• meet legal obligations under the Marriage Act 1961, and

• manage invoicing and record keeping.

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

4.  Storage and Security

Electronic records are kept on password-protected devices; paper records are stored in a locked cabinet.

Only I have access to your files.

Marriage documents are retained for seven years as required by law; non-legal ceremony files are securely destroyed after two years.

5.  Disclosure to Third Parties

Your details may be shared only when:

• lodging legal paperwork with the relevant Births, Deaths & Marriages Registry, or

• referring you (with your consent) to other ceremony professionals.

  No other third-party disclosure occurs.

No personally identifiable information is stored through these analytics.
